A delayed response API for testing loading states
Add a delay to any request to see how your app behaves while it waits: spinners, skeleton screens, retries and timeouts.
?delay=3 waits 3 seconds before responding; the maximum is 10
?delay=random waits between 0.2 and 3 seconds, for more realistic jitter
Works on every classic endpoint, including login and register

Questions
What is the longest delay?
Ten seconds. Larger values are capped at 10.
Can I test a timeout?
Yes. Set your client timeout below the delay, for example a 2 second timeout with ?delay=5.
Does the delay change the response?
No. You get the normal response, just later.
Need data that saves?
A free project gives you an API key and collections where records persist, so your demo or tutorial keeps its data.
